How are the massage therapists vetted?
Here at MATAGO we consider everyone’s safety to be of paramount importance. Our virtual marketplace operates in the same fashion the world has become accustomed to when booking a ride home from anywhere, renting a vacation house, or ordering food for delivery! MATAGO massage therapists are fully vetted, background checked, and currently hold active state licenses/certificates required by law to operate in the state they provide their service. Every massage therapist and client using our service participates in a dual rating system so our therapists can get feedback about the clients, while the clients can see feedback from other clients about the services provided by each individual therapist.
How does the ‘name my price’ option work?
By cutting out the middle-man, that’s how! This is the absolute best feature of MATAGO, and the only on-demand massage therapy service provider that offers you the option of being in complete control! As independent entrepreneurs, our massage therapists have the freedom to set their own prices for their services, and, their prices can even change to lower rates during typically slower days and times as well as shorter service durations. When you enter the price you wish to pay for the massage treatment you choose, our system will match you up with all of the licensed therapists available in your area whose price range fits within your offer. From there, you simply choose the therapist you want for the time and location you desire, and your appointment is booked and locked in at that price.
How do I pay for my massage?
After downloading this app, you will create your own Client Profile which contains a highly secure wallet for you to simply input your credit, debit, or bank information for your payment to be processed. You can add or change cards and accounts in your wallet at any time.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Our massage therapist entrepreneurs are in high demand and often travel throughout the day visiting multiple clients so we hope you are very confident that you will be at the service location in time for your appointment. If an unforeseen circumstance does arise that requires your cancellation with 24-hours or more advance notice, there will be no charge. Should you cancel your appointment on the same day it is scheduled within 2-hours to 24-hours of the appointment time, you will incur a charge of 50% of the agreed upon fee. Cancelling anytime within 2-hours of your appointment would result in 100% of the agreed upon fee being charged. With such a short window prior to the appointment, it is likely that the therapist will already be en route to your location with little to no time to rebook your timeslot.
